A marketing student at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Margaret Mary Tobin expects to graduate in May of 2014 with her bachelor of arts in business administration. Since 2011, she has balanced her studies with employment as a Marquette aquatics professional, lifeguarding at the Helfaer Tennis Stadium and Recreation Center on Marquette’s campus and teaching water safety courses at the University’s Rec Plex. Margaret Mary Tobin has also served as a lifeguard with Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and the Centennial Family Aquatic Center in Wilmette, Illinois.
In the summer of 2011 Margaret Mary Tobin was promoted to a Head Lifeguard Supervisor at Centennial Family Aquatic Center where she trained every lifeguard on staff in CPR, AED, First Aid, and water rescue and basic lifeguarding skills.
In the spring of 2013, Margaret Mary Tobin garnered significant business experience as an intern with Milwaukee’s AXA Advisors, LLC. At the same time, she served as a marketing and communications associate with Greg Noonan and Associates, which hired her to research, develop, and implement marketing strategies for the debut of its new financial education subsidiary, Savonk.
